Belgium’s Peter Van Hoesen is considered as one of techno’s tastemakers but never has been that typical techno artist. Peter is someone who sculpts sounds for many different environments – the club, the home, the gallery or even the museum. He does so with a true sense of personality. That party also marks and some other events inline. For the first time for Unstable Signal party we will have Simos Ares, a well known artist who is playing electronic music since 1998 and he is co-founder of Cannibal Radio, KAWRS and partner with BLNK. Then and following on with the line up of the night we are very glad to have the debut of Mackenzie on the label’s events, a very experienced DJ and the boss of our favourite record shop Habeat Records.
Along with them, MBasix the founder of Unstable Signal, who after a significant presence in the underground Greek rock and Jazz scene with some of the most important groups as a musician, he dived into Electronic music in the early 90’s and has released his music on labels such as EMI, Warner music, Advanced, Distrophonix, Pegasus Records, Anazitisi Records etc. will present his new material.
Last Saturday the 1st of February 2020 another great event by Unstable Signal took place at Temple Athens. Whatever we say about this endless and unbelievable night cannot fully describe it. The amazing and very spiritual set of SHXCXCHCXSH was something that we expected, Ayshel did the proper warm up, Morah was the great Morah we all know closing the party with the best way, while MBasix once again did a great job performing new material from his upcoming EP.

Unstable Signal keeping up the fight for good music and after a completely successful 2019, starts the new year with a huge event presenting the great SHXCXCHCXSH. The comeback of the enigmatic duo from Sweden at Temple Athens will take place on Saturday the 1st of February 2020. Shxcxchcxsh has become synonymous to haunting and abstract experimental techno. With the intricate balance between light and dark as well as the realms of drone, noise and techno their productions can be described as versatile and broad. The line up will be completed by Morah, the man behind Phormix and one of the most important Greek artists. He is a very promising electronic music producer and DJ with releases on labels such as Return to Disorder, Vanila, Suction Records, brokntoys amongst others and gigs all over the world. Following on with the line up of the night, we will also have Ayshel, a very talented DJ and founder of the project Waiting Room. Along with them, MBasix the founder of Unstable Signal, who after a signifigant presence in the underground Greek Rock and Jazz scene with some of the most important groups as a musician, he dived into Electronic music in the early 90’s and has released his music on labels such as EMI, Warner music, Advanced, Distrophonix, Pegasus Records, Anazitisi Records etc. will present his new live set.
Trying to recover from our Christmas Eve event with Shifted, Charlton, MBasix, Ayshel and GRΞTA the last one for 2019. What a night! 2019 was a very successful year for Unstable Signal who after the great Berlin debut at About Blank and the follow up party series at our beloved venue Temple Athens with guests the great Ancient Methods on March, the enigmatic Swedish duo Shxcxchcxsh on April, the legendary James Ruskin for the season club opening on September, the 12 hour music marathon with The Hacker, DJ Stingray and Drew McDowall on November and the last one with another legend Shifted and our beloved and very good friend Charlton, this year closes with the perfect way.
2019 also marked the first release of our label: Celldöd‘s EP ”Myndighetsförakt” on 12’inch vinyl and digital format. Unstable Signal’s Christmas Eve event at Temple Athens was one of those which we will all remember for Shifted’s amazing DJ set, the fantastic closing by Charlton, MBasix’s performance with very new material from his upcoming EP, the proper opening by Ayshel and GRΞTA and the great debut at an Unstable Signal event and at Temple Athens of Aggeliki Germakopoulou in visuals.

After the successful season club opening at Temple Athens with James Ruskin and the 12 hour music Marathon with The Hacker, DJ Stingray and Drew Mc Dowall, Unstable Signal strikes back presenting a clubnight with some great artists such as Shifted, Charlton, MBasix, Ayshel and Greta on Christmas Eve at Temple Athens.
As a producer, DJ & label head, Shifted has carved a unique space for himself within the field of modern electronic music – working diligently at the fertile juncture between Noise, Ambient & cutting edge, contemporary Techno. His music has been released on labels such as Avian, Bed of Nails, Drifting Over etc.
Charlton’s inventive style of producing tracks combines techno from “the old days” with his own dark off-beat rhythms resulting in a great sound. His tracks have been released on labels such as, Audio Assault, Arms, Labrynth, Aftertaste Pohjola, Krill music, and Mord.
Ayshel is a new but well known from her participation at many parties, Athens based DJ. She is a co-founder of the project Waiting Room who after her great debut at Temple Athens, will present a new DJ set b2b with Greta. Looking forward to this.
Greta is based in Athens, Greece and will make zis debut at Unstable Signal events. Ze is an up and coming, very talented and versatile multimedia artist, resident of the infamous Qreclaim parties and co-founder of the project Waiting Room who also runs zis own project named Eremus.

Incredible night at Temple Athens last Saturday on the 2nd of November. Another 12 hour huge event from Unstable Signal, 3 Shades of Black and Temple Athens took place with THE HACKER, DJ Stingray, Drew McDowall, MBasix & Chris Silver T (a.k.a Interplay Electro) and Mavridis. After the ideal start from the 3 beloved bands Hand & Leg, Sclavos and Tiffany goes to a ritual, the party zone started. MBasix & Chris Silver T (a.k.a Interplay Electro) made a great debut presenting their very special and spiritual set while Drew McDowall with his atmospheric journey lead us to the Hacker’s awesome DJ set. DJ Stingray showed us that he received the message playing an unbelievable set and Mavridis closed the party keeping the dancers until 10 o’clock in the morning. Big up to all the artists for their amazing music, to the Temple Athens crew for assisting and to the people who stayed till the end making another astonishing Clubnight. After the great start of the new season with James Ruskin as a guest, Unstable Signal is very happy to announce its second event in collaboration with 3 Shades of Black and Temple Athens hosting 3 legends of Electronic music. THE HACKER , DJ Stingray and Drew McDowall come in an all night long event on Saturday the 2nd of November at Temple Athens.
The night starts with 3 beloved bands, Hand & Leg, Sclavos and Tiffany goes to a ritual, celebrating the 2nd release of Hand & Leg called “ Lust in Peace “ on Slovenly.
What follows, coming in to the party zone, is MBasix & Chris Silver T a.k.a. Interplay Electro, a unique duo (Synthesizers and Drums) synonymous to abstract experimental and industrial perception of Electronic music. MBasix and Chris Silver T after their collaboration in the legendary psychedelic group Purple Overdose, the neo-psychedelic No Man’s Land and in many other Jazz projects, finally dived into Electronic music following different ways. They found each other again in their debut at Temple Athens with a very promising and unique project connecting the live bands zone with the party zone.
The line up will be completed by Mavridis. He is a very experienced DJ, well known from his participation at Phormix events and so many other parties in Athens.
Drew McDowall, DJ Stingray and the Hacker do not need any further presentation, so don’t miss this 12hour music Marathon.
